Steven Diehl

In his role as Chief Corporate Development and Emerging Markets Officer, Steven Diehl focuses on developing new business opportunities in growing and emerging markets around the world, positioning CIBT for long-term success. Steve has 25 years of executive experience with CIBT and Newland Chase in multiple leadership roles and has led a successful career in immigration and travel services.

Prior to his role as Chief Corporate Development and Emerging Markets Officer, Steve served as the Global Managing Director of Newland Chase, a position he began in 2017. Steve excels at developing comprehensive mobility solutions for global corporations having complex needs. As CIBT’s global footprint has dramatically expanded into new regions, Steve has played an integral role in providing strategic guidance and direction to corporations seeking short-term and long-term migration strategies tailored to diverse industry sectors.

Steve is a summa cum laude graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelors in International Relations. He is a recognized industry leader, active in and frequently speaking at leading international travel and mobility association events, including the Worldwide ERC (ERC), the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM), the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), and the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA).
