Financial Accountant

Overview

The financial accountant will be responsible for leading and managing the Nordic entities (4) financial
operations, utilising a common pool of staff located in The Hague. This is a high quality finance
orientated role, supporting the business to drive growth and operational gearing of the business.
Although the financial accountant will have no direct reports, the financial accountant will be
expected to assist in staffing issues, and to provide leadership and mentoring to the team. The
financial accountant will have full accountability for the P&L and balance sheet, providing high quality
financial information, monitoring and developing metrics which will be used to support the growth of
the business. The financial accountant will also ensure robust financial controls and processes are in
place, continuously striving to improve the control environment and move towards best practice.
They will also work closely with the Nordic MD and country managers to develop the business and
identifying new commercial opportunities.
